Growing Stronger Together: Technical Assistance from the PAT IL State Office
At the PAT IL State Office, technical assistance (TA) isn’t just about checking boxes—it’s about building capacity, strengthening implementation, and supporting the people who do the work every day. Over the past year, our TA offerings have reflected the diverse and evolving needs of programs across Illinois, with a focus on model fidelity, reflective supervision, meaningful family engagement, and data-informed practice.
Through webinars, learning communities, and collaborative discussions, we created space for programs to connect, ask questions, and deepen their understanding of key components of the PAT model.
Here are just a few examples of what that looked like:
- In our Real Self-Care book study, educators and supervisors explored what true, sustainable self-care looks like in the helping professions.
- Sessions on using screening results to support family goals and gathering and using PAT record data helped teams better connect their documentation to meaningful outcomes.
- We also offered ongoing support around supervision, visit planning, co-parenting, and family transitions—all designed to support high-quality visits and strong relationships.

New PAT Supervisor Bootcamp (FY26)

Would you like a space to ask questions, build confidence, and connect with others in a similar role?
If so, join us for the New PAT Supervisor Bootcamp, a supportive monthly learning community designed to help you strengthen your leadership and deepen your understanding of the PAT model. Whether you attend one session or all ten, you’re welcome.
