PAT Illinois at Advocacy Day 2026
On May 13, advocates from across Illinois gathered in Springfield for Early Childhood Advocacy Day 2026 to highlight the importance of policies and investments that support young children, families, and the early childhood workforce.
Representatives from the PAT Illinois State Office joined colleagues and partners from across the state to meet with legislators, participate in advocacy activities, and share the impact that early childhood and home visiting programs have on children and families. The event provided an opportunity to discuss the value of investing in services that strengthen family well-being, support healthy child development, and increase access to quality early childhood programs.

We would also like to recognize the team from Bright Futures in Peoria for their continued participation and support of Advocacy Day. Their ongoing engagement helps ensure that the voices of families and early childhood professionals are represented in conversations that shape policy decisions across Illinois.
Thank you to everyone who took time to participate, share their experiences, and advocate for children and families. These collective efforts help raise awareness of the critical role early childhood programs play in communities throughout the state.
