Building on Growth: Welcoming a New Program Year

A new year brings new opportunities to learn, grow, and strengthen our impact across Illinois.

Looking Back to Move Forward

Last year brought inspiring examples of dedication, creativity, and resilience from programs across the state—efforts that have strengthened our network and enriched the lives of the families you serve. We’re excited to build on that momentum, welcoming several new affiliates to the Parents as Teachers Illinois family and continuing to support all program staff in reaching their goals.

Strategic Planning with Purpose

Later this month, the PAT IL State Office will hold a strategic planning meeting to map out Group Technical Assistance sessions, monthly calls, and Parents as Teachers Supervisors Learning Communities (PATSLCs) for the year ahead.

We take a thoughtful approach—reviewing feedback and data from APRs to ensure our plans are responsive, relevant, and grounded in the needs of the entire network. Alongside new and timely topics, we remain committed to addressing ongoing priorities, such as reducing missed ERs identified in the APR.

A Year for All Staff to Grow Together

Whether your role focuses on program leadership, family visits, data management, or community outreach, we encourage you to start the year with clear intentions and a shared vision. Together, we can continue to strengthen systems, support one another, and make a lasting difference for families across the state.
