Celebrating the Impact of Home Visiting Across Illinois
During National Home Visiting Week (April 20–24, 2026), the PAT IL State Office proudly joins communities across Illinois in celebrating the impact of home visiting programs. This year, Governor JB Pritzker has officially proclaimed April 20–24, 2026, as Home Visiting Week in Illinois, recognizing the vital role these programs play in supporting children and families across the state.
Every day, home visiting professionals build strong relationships with families, providing support, guidance, and resources that promote healthy development and school readiness. Home visiting programs help strengthen family relationships, promote equity, and ensure families have access to the tools they need to thrive.
We recognize and appreciate the dedication of parent educators, supervisors, and program leaders who make this work possible. Across the state, home visiting programs are strengthening families and communities—one visit at a time. Thank you for the meaningful role you play in supporting Illinois families.
We’d love to highlight your work! Share photos and a short caption from National Home Visiting Week—or any program success—through the Program Successes page (under the Supervisor tab): https://patillinois.org/program-successes/
