Emergency Preparedness Toolkit for Home Visiting Programs
Posted February 9, 2024
The Emergency Preparedness Toolkit for Home Visiting Programs is a resource that provides strategies for communicating with families around a variety of emergency situations that may jeopardize the safety of the child and/or family system. The toolkit contains a description of each emergency with examples of relevant and appropriate responses and resources that early childhood professionals can use with the families they serve.
You can find the toolkit, and an accompanying video overview of the toolkit, on the Professional Learning Portal.
