Ariel Chaidez

Ariel is a prominent leader in the field of early childhood development and family support, currently serving as the Illinois PAT State Leader and Senior Program Manager at Start Early. Ariel’s expertise is both broad and deep. Since 2012, he has been a certified PAT National Trainer, demonstrating his commitment to excellence and professional growth within the organization. At the Illinois PAT State Office, Ariel leads with vision and diligence, overseeing an amazing group of state office professionals and a robust network that spans over 100 affiliates and supports 500 curriculum subscribers. Under his guidance, the office effectively coordinates with home visiting and center-based family support programs, making a meaningful impact on countless families throughout the state.

In addition to his leadership roles, Ariel is a licensed clinical social worker, bringing a wealth of knowledge and compassion to his work. His dedication to supporting the mental and emotional well-being of families, infants and young children across the state is further evidenced by his Infant/Early Childhood Mental Health Credential. Ariel Chaidez’s multifaceted background, combined with his passion for empowering families and enhancing early childhood outcomes, positions him as a true trailblazer in the field.

Julie has worked in the home visiting field since 1999. Her greatest joy in life is hearing Isaac, her son, belly laugh. When not working Julie enjoys mindless reality TV, reading historical fiction and poolside vacations

Teresa has worked in the early childhood field since 2006 in various roles including preschool teacher, social worker, and home visiting and doula supervisor. She enjoys reading and spending time outside and hopes to do some hiking with her family this summer.

Kim has worked in early childhood for over a decade. She enjoys spending time outside with her husband, son, and pup. In her spare time, Kim trains for and participates in triathlons.

Meaghan has been in the home visiting field for over 10 years and is particularly passionate about home visiting with young parents. She is originally from southern California and has learned not to take nice weather for granted. She enjoys spending time outside with her husband and son, even in the winter.

Victoria has been part of Start Early for over 18 years, providing essential support to the PAT State Office and early childhood programs throughout Illinois. Victoria is the proud mother of two college-aged sons and two rescue dogs. On the weekends, she enjoys traveling, hiking and exploring new places.
